My Choice

If I don’t like what’s happening right now, I say, “Thank you.” When I catch myself feeling resentful, I say, “I choose what is, just the way it is this moment.” I don’t want to feel like a victim. I move myself out of a passive “done-to” position and into an active alignment with what is. I control what I can and accept what I can’t. 

Making that discrimination is essential.
